⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was going through a very difficult period while listening to this book. I found it was like a comfort blanket for me. The narrator's voice was so soothing and the words were like a balm that kept me focused on my own ability to know what is best for me, even through a dark night of the soul that I was experiencing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The narration by Hopewell really helped deliver the message. Their voice is calming and grounded and helped convey information about what many people can easily dismiss in a way that felt so authentic.

An exceptionally comforting listen.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The narrator's warmth shines through too. They talk to you as if to a friend and it makes the whole listening experience feel very personal. Looking forward to the next book!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The narrators voice is warm, clear, comforting, engaging and really brings a magical feel to the guidance and wisdom this book holds. Highly recommend.

Let's have a chat.

If you're interested in working with Abby then the first step is to reach out to see if working together would be a good fit. This is a two way relationship; there are so many wonderful narrators out there and it's important you feel confident in your choice but it’s also essential that Abby feels comfortable working with you and/or your content, too.

You can email abbyhopewell.narrator@gmail.com or chat through instagram if preferred. Once it has been established that you would like to go ahead, a video call can be arranged to discuss the details further.

It's all in the details.

It's really important that both/all parties are on the same page to manage expectations appropriately and so this is where conversations will be had about proposed deadlines for the 15 minute check and the finished production (for audiobooks specifically).

If schedules align and everyone is happy, then we can go ahead.

The legal bit.

If both parties are happy, then a contract can be signed at this stage.

This contract outlines deadlines for the 15 minute checkpoint and the finished production. A 50% payment is required once the 15 minute checkpoint has been approved. This is 50% of the estimated overall production cost as agreed and outlined at the contract stage. This is an estimate until the full production has been completed and the total running time is known.

Contracts can be made directly between the two parties or through ACX if preferred (ACX must be used for Royalty Share Plus).

What is

"Per Finished Hour"?

A 'finished hour' is in reference to one completed hour of audio which has been edited and mastered.

If an audiobook is 10 hours long when completed, this would be 10 finished hours.

The amount of time it takes to produce those 10 finished hours is variable, but it can take upwards of 8-10 hours to get 1 finished hour, so 80-100+ hours for a 10 hour book.

Payment for "per finished hour" means payment for only the finished hours, not the other hours taken to produce it.

For example, a 10 hour book at £185/$250 per finished hour would be £1850/$2500.

What is

"Royalty Share Plus"?

'Royalty Share Plus' is a lower 'per finished hour rate' with additional and ongoing royalty share payments on top. An initial payment would be made for the book itself and then ongoing royalty share payments would be made monthly. This can be a more affordable alternative for authors who would prefer not to pay in full initially.

For example, a 10 hour book at a reduced per finished hour charge of £150/$200 per finished hour would be £1500/$2000 with ongoing monthly payments.

This option is only available through ACX and ACX would process all Royalty Share payments.
